März zeigen die Daten der Polymarket-Website, dass die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass die Ölpreise im März die 100-Dollar-Marke überschreiten, von den niedrigsten 35 % am Vortag auf 76 % stark gestiegen ist, mit einem Handelsvolumen von über 10 Millionen US-Dollar. Zuvor hatte JPMorgan erklärt, dass selbst eine Blockade des Hormuzstrahls nur für 3-4 Wochen die Mitgliedsstaaten des Golfkooperationsrates dazu zwingen könnte, die Ölförderung zu stoppen und den Brent-Ölpreis auf über 100 US-Dollar pro Barrel steigen lassen.
