PANews 18. August - Das Kernteam von Gnosis Chain schlägt vor, einem Forscher, der eine Konsensanfälligkeit entdeckt, eine einmalige Belohnung von 10.000 USD zu zahlen. Laut dem Vorschlag GIP-132 wurde die Schwachstelle am 25. Februar 2025 von cergyk offengelegt und könnte zu einer Aufspaltung der Kette führen. Das Problem wurde am 17. März durch ein Update von Nethermind behoben. Wenn die Schwachstelle ausgenutzt wird, würde dies dazu führen, dass Nethermind und Erigon Transaktionen unterschiedlich verarbeiten, was wiederum eine Kettenaufspaltung zur Folge hätte.
