According to Gate.io News bot and The Block, New York Congressman Ritchie Torres is preparing to introduce the "Preventing Presidents from Profiting from Digital Assets Act." This bill aims to restrict current and former Presidents, Vice Presidents, Members of Congress, and their immediate family members from creating, issuing, or promoting meme coins and stablecoins themed around their personal characteristics.
At the same time, Senator Richard Blumenthal issued subpoenas to World Liberty Financial and Fight Fight Fight LLC to investigate activities related to Trump's cryptocurrency assets.
