ChainCatcher news, Haichen Shen, co-founder of Scroll, announced on the X platform that the Euclid upgrade proposal for Scroll has been voted through. According to the plan, this upgrade will include the following core content:
Network milestone: Scroll will upgrade to Stage-1 ZK Rollup in two weeks;
Performance Improvement: Network throughput exceeds 2000 TPS, with a single transaction fee of less than 1 cent.
Technical Upgrade: Upgrade to zkVM Prover Validator OpenVM;
Protocol Compatibility: Supports EIP-7702 (Account Abstraction Extension) and RIP-7212 (Precompiled Contract Optimization), and migrates to MPT (Merkle Patricia Tree) data structure, further enhancing multi-chain compatibility.
