März etwa 95 % der Bestandteile des Goldminen-ETFs (GDX, VanEck Gold Miners ETF) in einen Bärenmarkt eingetreten sind, was den höchsten Anteil seit 2023 darstellt, mit einem Rückgang von insgesamt 25 % in den letzten 4 Wochen. Während dieses Rückgangs hat der US-Dollar an Stärke gewonnen, und der Rückgang des Aktienmarktes hat zu Margin-Calls und Zwangsverkäufen geführt, während der Iran-Konflikt die Betriebskosten im Bergbau in die Höhe treibt. Der Spotpreis für Gold bleibt in der Nähe historischer Höchststände, während sich die Minenaktien vom Goldpreis abkoppeln.
