Whale sold WBTC and then made a large purchase of AAVE, accumulating an unrealized gains of over 26 million USD.
According to Deep Tide TechFlow news on May 24, on-chain data analyst Yu Jin monitored that a Whale/institutional investor sold 184.4 WBTC (approximately 20.4 million USD) yesterday through Wintermute OTC, and today bought AAVE worth 15 million USD through the same platform.
The investor transferred 15 million USDC to Wintermute and subsequently received 57,715 AAVE at a unit price of approximately 259.9 USD. It is reported that this investor has been continuously accumulating AAVE since March 2023, having invested a total of 30.8 million USD to purchase 224,010 AAVE, with an average cost of 137.5 USD. Based on the current price, this investor's position has an unrealized profit of approximately 26.32 million USD.
