Q1: Can you please give us a short intro about Beldex?

Sulthan: Beldex is a privacy-focused network building decentralized, private applications. Our vision is to enable a private Web3 eco that protects user privacy. BChat, BelNet, Beldex Browser, and the Beldex Privacy Protocol are the DApps currently being developed.

BChat is a private decentralized messenger that allows you to send and receive anonymous messages/make calls over the Beldex network.

BelNet is a decentralized onion routing based VPN service which lets you privately browse the internet.

The Beldex Browser is an ad-free browser with in-built VPN. It rewards user engagement and content.

Beldex Privacy Protocol is a cross-chain protocol that can be used to anonymize the assets across multiple blockchains.

Q2: What is the primary scope & utility of Beldex?

Sulthan: BDX will be a utility on the Beldex network (on masternodes).

You can send and receive private payments with BDX. BDX will also be the utility on DApps like BChat, BelNet, and Beldex Browser.

Beldex is working to create real-world utility for BDX by integrating with vendors and digital asset payment providers.

Q3: Could you tell us more about your recent Dapp launch?

Codeman: BChat is a private decentralized messenger which is launched in June 2022. It is built on top of the Beldex network. It is truly private in the sense that it doesn’t require your phone number or email address to create an account. You can connect with your friends using your BChat ID. Your messages are encrypted and are sent securely over the Beldex network nodes.

You can send text & voice messages, share audio, video and other files, create Secret (private) groups, and social (community) groups. We’re also adding voice and video calls to BChat at the end of this month.

Q4: Do you have any other upcoming DApp releases?

Codeman: Yes we do. We are building a decentralized VPN named BelNet. BelNet is an onion router based VPN service. The BelNet VPN utilizes the Beldex network to relay traffic while anonymizing the source of the traffic (your IP address). BelNet will enable Beldex Name Service or (name).bdx domains which can be used to host unstoppable, private web applications on the Beldex network. BelNet will be launched for both mobile (iOS & Android) as well as desktop (Windows, Mac, Linux) devices. Anyone can run a node on the Beldex network to contribute to the anonymization of user traffic.

Q5: What are the future developments Beldex is looking into in-terms of Research & Development?

Codeman: We are currently developing a Proof of Concept for EVM integration to enable shielded smart contracts on the Beldex network. Beldex Research Labs is researching succinct proving s to enhance the scalability & reduce the storage requirements of network nodes while maintaining security and decentralization.
